CCAP (Congregational Community Action Project) is a charitable service organization that has been providing emergency food, clothing and financial assistance to people in the Front Royal area for nearly 30 years. CCAP provides a "safety net" for those not eligible for existing social services and every year serves an average of 1200 families. George Rutter has been with CCAP since 1997 and currently serves as president. Jean Kresge has been with CCAP since its inception and serves as treasurer. Although CCAP has nearly 50 active volunteers, they are in constant need of personnel, finances, food and clothing.
